Will Support Military Outpost During Tournament Week

June 6, 2022

BLAINE, MN – 3M Open tournament officials announce Huntington National Bank as an official partner of the event. Huntington will support the tournament’s Military Outpost during the PGA TOUR event, scheduled for July 18-24 at TPC Twin Cities. As an official PGA TOUR stop and part of the FedEx Cup series, the 3M Open brings the world’s best golfers and elite competition to the Twin Cities.

The Huntington Bank Military Outpost hospitality venue will be located on the 18th hole and will be exclusive to retired and active military and their families. The sponsorship is just one of the many ways Huntington Bank supports and honors the service and sacrifices of active and retired military, veterans, and their families.

“The 3M Open is pleased to provide two complimentary tickets for the third consecutive year to active, retired servicemembers and military veterans,” said Mike Welch, 3M Open Tournament Director. “This year, through the support of our partners at Huntington Bank, the Military Outpost will provide fantastic views of Hole 18 to watch live golf, as we host men and women who have made countless sacrifices for our nation.”

Huntington Bank’s purpose is to contribute to the economic strength of its local communities by investing in business growth, partnering, and volunteering to make a difference where we all live and work. Huntington’s Lift Local Business program supports veteran-owned small businesses throughout the business life cycle — from start-up to expansion. Learn more at Huntington.com/community.

“We are proud to partner with the 3M Open Tournament to support the Military Outpost in honor of our retired servicemembers and veterans,” said Darrel German, Regional President of Minnesota, Huntington Bank and retired Colonel from the United States Army Reserve. “Sponsoring the Military Outpost is one of the many ways we are able to demonstrate our continued commitment to serving this great community, the same way outstanding members of the military have served our country.”

Thanks to donations from Cub, Nature Valley and Pepsi, there will be complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks in the venue.
