NFL tight end to help continue tournament’s focus on community

BLAINE, Minn. – 3M Open officials announced today that NFL tight end Kyle Rudolph will return as the 3M Open ambassador for 2021.
“I’m thrilled to continue on as the 3M Open ambassador,” said Rudolph. “Even though I’ll be wearing a different jersey next season, my heart and my home is still in Minnesota and with this community. I’m proud of the work we have accomplished together and look forward to doing even more in 2021.”
Kyle returns for his third year as the 3M Open ambassador and will help the tournament continue its work in the community. In two years, the 3M Open has gifted more than $3 million to local non-profits and has donated food, products, and essential items to under-resourced individuals.
“This was a no-brainer for us,” said Mike Welch, the 3M Open tournament director. “Kyle’s passion for the Minnesota community is a natural fit with the values of the 3M Open. We’re excited to continue our work together by using sports as a platform to improve lives right here in Minnesota.”
The tournament is scheduled for July 19-25 at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, MN.
