Jun 28, 2023

BLAINE, MN – 3M Open tournament officials announce today that the tournament and Caribou Coffee will partner on a Fan Pass package for this year’s 3M Open, and proceeds from the sale will benefit one of the tournament’s charities—M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.

“The 3M Open is proud to collaborate with a great partner in Caribou Coffee to create a ticket package that not only provides our guest with a delightful beverage, but more importantly the opportunity to give back to an organization that does incredible things in our community,” said Mike Welch, 3M Open Tournament Director. “We’ve both supported M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital for many years and this is an additional way to give back.”

“Caribou Coffee has a deep-rooted commitment to supporting events and partnerships that uplift and empower our communities,” said Kayleen Alexson, Caribou Coffee Sr. Director of ESG and Enterprise Brand Strategy. “Coffee and community fuel us. We’re thrilled to again be partnering with the team at 3M Open, and thankful that our partnership provides an opportunity to give back.”

The Birdies and ‘Bou ticket package is available for $80, it includes a fan pass, one beverage and a souvenir 3M Open / Caribou 16 oz. Tervis Cup. Fans will also receive an additional $1 off each additional beverage purchased at the ‘Bou Truck when you use your 3M Open / Caribou 16oz Tervis Cup during your 3M Open experience.

The Caribou Coffee ‘Bou Truck will once again be located in the Northwoods, a popular destination for food and beverage lovers off the 18th fairway on golfers’ left. The promotion is only valid at the Caribou Coffee ‘Bou Truck in the Northwoods. For every ticket package sold, the 3M Open will donate $5 back to M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.

The ethos of the 3M Open is “Golf That Matters” and now in its fifth year, is committed to remaining a platform to give back and assist our communities through the 3M Open Fund. The 3M Open Fund will donate funds raised to select Minnesota charities to support the incredible work being performed both locally and regionally.  In 2023, deserving charities such as First Tee Minnesota, M Health Fairview and Greater Twin Cities United Way will be major beneficiaries and highlighted during our tournament.
