In partnership with 3Mgives, the 3M Open hosted the first annual Golf 4 All Day on Tuesday of tournament week at TPC Twin Cities. Over 500 students from organizations such as Urban Ventures, First Tee Minnesota, Tony Sanneh Foundation and Girls Taking Action came to celebrate all that is good in the game of golf, with a culturally-relevant twist. Music was provided by Generation NOW, the DJ’s of the Timberwolves and Lynx. Murals, large coloring pages and arts and crafts were provided by Roho Collective, in collaboration with the PGA TOUR Wives Association. Houston White showcased his Victory clothing brand, which utilizes 3M’s Scotchlite reflective material.
Students were treated to a panel of 3M Open ambassadors and influencers who shared why they think golf is “cool”, and how the game has helped them in their professional and personal lives. Reviews of the day have been glowing, and all participants can’t wait to make it bigger and better next year!
