BLAINE, Minn. – 3M Open officials announced today six more player commitments that rolled in during the last few days, including former World No. 1 and major champion Jason Day, who will compete in the fourth edition of the 3M Open, scheduled for July 18-24 at TPC Twin Cities.
J.T. Poston, who won the John Deere Classic Sunday, is another addition to a field that boasts 34 PGA TOUR winners in the past two seasons, including seven players who have won this year. He is joined by Stewart Cink, another 2022 winner, who will compete here for the third time.
2012 FedExCup champion and nine-time PGA TOUR winner Brandt Snedeker, three-time winner Brendan Steele and four-time European Tour champion Matt Wallace also committed within the past few days.
Day, a 12-time PGA TOUR winner who finished T66 in his only appearance here in 2019, leads the current field in career victories. There are 191 total PGA TOUR victories represented in the 156-player field.
Also, with the addition of Day and Cink, there are five major championship winners coming to Blaine and include 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, Masters champion Danny Willett and U.S. Open winner Lucas Glover.
Players have until Friday, July 15 to commit and can withdraw from the tournament at any time.
