3M Open officials today presented YWCA Minneapolis and YWCA St. Paul $100,000 each and tournament staff assisted each facility in packing welcome baskets and supply kits for families and community members.
3M Open officials today announce the 2020 charitable giving efforts of the tournament with $1.5 million directed toward local nonprofit organizations focused on supporting individuals impacted by COVID-19 and those fighting for social justice initiatives. The 3M Open Fund will donate funds raised to select Minnesota charities and highlight the ‘Power of Community’ throughout the event.
Paul Casey, Tommy Fleetwood, Matthew Wolff and Will Gordon will join forces in a nine-hole scramble format on the closing nine holes. In the spirit of community in the Twin Cities, which has had the dual challenges of a global pandemic and social unrest, the players will work together to score birdies and eagles for charity dollars that will support organizations committed to fighting social injustices in the Twin Cities.
